Now I get it. Global warming causes global cooling.

How can it be that a rational, modern college graduate, as I know Hanshan to be, could possibly be so clueless about the elementary principles of thermo and hydro dymanics such that the phenomena he cites as a contradiction is really incomprehensible to him. NOT TO SAY THAT HE IS WRONG in disbelieving the case in favor of "global warming", just that the case he cites could simply never be an adequate refutation of it.
(The absurd comment above only proves the point.)
Oh, I guess I forgot; on Cold Mountain the so-called "Enlightenment" and the "scientific revolution" never happened. Faith (in the Lord or the Market) trumps all.
